I'm looking for a good stand alone movie to watch and I wanted to get people's opinions, which ones should I watch?

Sword of the Stranger is definitely a good one to check out.

Sword of the Stranger is sick. Better fights than anything in Naruto, beautiful animation, the bad guy is a total badass and the story is decent too. Definitely check it out. Both subbed and dubbed are good too
