Lightning release is one of the basic five elements. This element allows the user to increase frequency vibrations in their chakra, allowing them to use it to make piercing damage and fast movement. Lightning release can also paralyze the opponent, leaving them open for the finishing blow.

Lightning release is common in Kumogakure, especially for the 3rd and 4th raikage.

Lightning also goes well with Water, since it can easily conduct lightning. This means if you combine a water and lightning jutsu it could be more devastating power. Also natural lightning is incredible more powerful than the ones inside us, the natural lightning can be obtained through a lot of training and if you use a powerful fire release, you would be possible to create thunderclouds, so that you could use it's power.

Lightning is strong against earth, since it can easily smash and break through the ground, yet it is weak against wind, since it is a natural electrical insulator.

There are several shinobi who are capable of using lightning release, Hatake Kakashi, Sasuke Uchiha, and many shinobi from Kumogakure, including their Raikage.

*I walk over to the tree, sit down under it in a relaxing position with my pipe still smoking. Then I close my eyes, and start meditating.

As I start meditating, I get the sense of the power, that the lightning has in nature. The lightning makes me feel more powerful yet inferior. This feeling makes me think about the impressive power the lightning has, and how destructive it can be. As time passes I begin to feel stronger and faster, while the raiton chakra is flowing through my body*

Lightning is one of the five basic elements, it can be used to shock, burn, paralyze, cut and slash the opponent.

Lightning is strong against earth but weak against wind and it goes well with water which is a great conductor and can increase its power.

Despite lightning jutsu being powerful, it is not as strong as natural lightning which is coming from the sky rather then a persons chakra.
You can obtain natural lightning by using a strong fire release to heat up the atmosphere and create thunderclouds.

Lightning release is common in kumogakure.

*I go over to that tree, sit down and close my eyes. I begin by clearing my mind of all thoughts then i focus on this specific task, lightning.....while in meditation, i try to sense its power, i try to reach its very nature, i imagine thunder clouds and i see the lightning strike down.

I try to become one with this power and as i do, i feel a surge of power coming up from my spine, i get this sudden urge to move, like a reflex but i don´t and instead i try to hold this power within me and go back to focusing on become one with lightning........soon, the power surface in my body, i am in total control of my body....i control lightning, it does not control me.

I feel it flowing through my body, i feel stronger, faster and more lighter...... this is raiton chakra.*

Lightning release is one of the 5 basic elements of ninjutsu. It focuses on creating electrical charges out of chakra that can be used to vibrate weapons to increase potency or electrocute oponents with quick attacks. *begins thinking of the properties of lightning. I speed up my chakra flow, chakra colides with other chakra and vibrates/my hair stands on end*

I sit back down, let my pipe smoke, put my hands together and start meditating, releasing the lightning chakra around my body.

As i do my body starts to vibrate and rub, my body feels stronger and faster, i feel a small breese on my neck.

After a while (2 hours) I stand back up feeling incredible fast in my mind and very strong.

What is the next step... sensei?

*I sit down to meditate again, i focus on concentrating my lightning chakra inside me and then releasing it. My body gets back to that feeling i had, the urge to move but stronger, i also feel vibrations in my body this time but i don´t stop, i keep going.

After about 2 hours, i get out of the meditation, truly feeling like i have mastered lightning chakra and can bring it forth whenever i need to*

I stand up and concentrate my chakra and i feel the chakra flowing throughout my body.

I can do this! I´m finished now! Give me the next step!
