Hell’s Depths

Hell’s Depths is named so because of the many deep gorges and treacherous, near vertical drops that cover the mountainous landscape. Due to the particular geology of the area very sharp stalagmites have accumulated at the bottom of these pits and as mist and snow blanket the area seasonally these become death traps, making the area extremely dangerous to traverse. Many signs on its periphery warn travelers of the risks.

Alice (spawning) opens her eyes to little flakes of snow falling from the sky, melting away as they kiss against her face. She gazes into the clouds, feeling a certain comfort from the quiet and calm environment, despite its name.

Is this what its like ? .. To be live peacefully.

This post marks the beginning of my (our) mission using these storyboard elements:
-Guard someone very important (5)
-Save a large community from danger (5)
-Assassinate the enemy Commander (5)
Summary: The story of this mission takes place in the Badlands of Earth, where on my travels back home came across two individuals, one child and one elder, whom offered me kumi to help guide them to across the Land. Not explaining much, but could tell by the look on the mans face they were running from something. I accepted the proposal, little did i know the next few days would provide many challenges and dangerous challengers.
...Or maybe they were silly thoughts, Alice twisting her head to her left, toward the two individuals she's helping guide across Hell's depths and the Badlands. The child seemed innocent, without a worry on his face. The elder though, whether it was because he was unsure of me or because he's hiding something, appears to constantly "look over his shoulder", as if he knows expecting something. Alice wondered what would lead them hear? Not many outside individuals travel through here because of its dangers. It wasn't uncommon for Alice to accept missions on a whim. With the shits shes been through in her young life, helping others gave her certain satisfaction.

Alright, Its time we get moving, before the sun goes down. The weather becomes brutal at night and navigating wont be easy.

She said as she sat up and began to stand. Knowing if it were to get dark, it would become too dangerous for the others. Wiping off the snow attached to her clothing, she made sure the others had their things and order and then began walking with the child and elder following close behind.

Coming From

The Blood of the Damned

And so Isako arrived at the location he surmised to be the first part of the riddle. It was here in Hell that the guilty rested, each and every inhabitant judged and condemned by the Almighty's unquestionable justice. Yet, it was barren and there was no life to be harvested. Isako moved across the lightly dusted rocks in search of a sign. It was a riddle after all, there must have been some deeper meaning. Where most of his journey had thus far been cold, the climate of Hell's Depths was indeterminate. Cold patches gave way to blistering heat where gorges bellowed forth fire and brimstone. It was a welcome change for Isako who let the heat warm his chilled bones. "Ahhh, ain't that better?"

It was a dangerous land and sporadic bones told a story of travelers meeting an early demise as its hand. But Isako was no mere traveler, and it would take more than geography to end his journey. It became apparent that the surface didn't hold the answer to his quest, and so Isako turned his gaze downward. Standing on the precipice of a rather large ravine he peered over the edge. "Whaddya say Tankami, in we go?"

"Out of the freezer and into the furnace..." It seemed that there would be no easy leg in this quest. The ancient core brought Isako to the frozen north, and now it begged him into fiery depths. He dropped into the ravine and scaled the rocky wall. The floor he landed on was warm to the touch revealing great power beneath it. He moved onward in the descending direction moving deeper into the earth itself. Soon enough the open chasm above became a rocky ceiling and the smell of sulfur burned Isako's nostrils.

As the light of the gorge faded behind him, Isako saw a new glow taking shape ahead. Red and orange light guided him forward until he came to an opening in another, smaller gorge, barely a few meters wide with a minuscule footing path running along a red river of lava. "Well I'll be...would ya look at that big guy? What's that look like to ya?"

Shukaku pondered for a moment and then realized what Isako saw. "Blood..." It seemed that Isako had arrived at his answer, or at least another part of it. They had ventured into Hell in search of the guilty's blood, and here they stood before the blood of Hell itself. They sought to forge a weapon, to fill the black gem with power, and power flowed freely through the veins of Hell. But the riddle was not yet complete. "Seek out the blood of the guilty, one hundred offerings should suffice." What did they mean by one-hundred offerings? Unsure, Isako pushed onward, following the guilty blood to its conclusion.

The lava guided him through winding chasms until it came to a cliff where the blood dropped over the side and fell into a circular pool below. Isako looked around the cavern surrounding the pool and saw a number of other falls reaching the same source. He had reached the center. "Looks like the end of the tunnel..." Isako dropped down into the cavern and approached the edge of the pool. "So...what now?"

They stood in silence for some time, until Shukaku had an idea. "Toss the gem in the pool." It was a bold suggestion, and came as a surprise to Isako.

"In the lava?! What if it burns!" The gems reeked of strength, but could it survive such heat?

Shukaku chuckled, "Graha, it won't. I've seen all sorts of wonders in my time. I might not know the exact nature of this relic, but it would take more than nature to shatter it."

Slowly Isako uncorked his gourd of sand and guided the black gem into his hand. Reluctantly, he tossed it into the bloody heart of Hell. "Uhh...ain't nothing happenin' big guy..."

They waited in an awkward silence while Isako started to get nervous. Had they come all this way just to throw their quest away? Just as he started to accept his mistake, the lava began to stir. It bubbled in the center and then exploded upward. Isako leaped back away from the edge to give himself some safe distance as the column subsided. At its center stood a golem of stone, fire, and lava, and at its heart was the black gem.

"The gem!" The stone construct let out a roar that spewed forth lava. Isako's sand spilled from his gourd and intercepted the molten rock. "Gah! It stole our frickin' stone! That fucker!"

Isako inhaled a deep breath a blew out a powerful blade of wind that crashed into the body of the golem. It stumbled back a step, but was otherwise unscathed. "Tough bastard!"

The creature leaped out of its birthing pool and came down towards Isako with both hand descending in fists. Again Isako's sand moved to intercept, but this time the golem's attack broke through. The explosive force threw Isako back into the cavern wall where a layer of sand cushioned his collision, though he coughed up a spittle of blood.

"The hell...is this the gem's power?" He used his sleeve to wipe away the blood and pushed himself back to his feet. The golem stepped forward so Isako commanded his sand to envelope it tightly, binding it. He held both hands open, palms forward, and then clenched them violently together. The sandy prison surrounding the golem collapsed inwards on itself with deadly force, crushing the prisoner within.

"Take that ya fucker!" His boasting was short lived. The sand exploded outward and the golem was once again unscathed. It raced forward and Isako was forced to flee upward on a cloud of sand. The golem unleashed a barrage of molten boulders that Isako barely was able to navigate between. "Tch!"

Shukaku offered his advice, "It's a test, a measure of your strength. Let's show it what we can do"

"Ya got it boss!" Isako held up his right hand and gathered wind and sand in his palm. The elements swirled around and danced together in his hand. Into a tight forming sphere they formed, swirling like a contained storm. "Alright Tankami! Pump it up!"

Shukaku released his power into Isako who channeled it into the sand and wind. The sphere inflated in moments moving from the size of a normal rasengan to that of an oodama rasengan. Wind and sand swirled around Isako in the air as the power of the Desert Storm radiated outward. "Let him have it kid!"

The duo roared out together, "EAT EAT THIS! THIS!"

Isako threw the ball down at the golem which braces for impact. It stretched out it's arms to catch the storm and the two forces clashed. They both stood resolute for a moment, but the golem blinked first. The creature was pushed back into the cavern wall and the storm crushed into him with fall force. The shape of the sphere gave way as the storm of wind and sand exploded outward and carved through stone. The power of the Jinchuriki and his Tailed Beast was furious to behold.

Isako descended to the cavern floor as the storm subsided leaving behind a layer of sand in it's wake. The cavern wall had been extended several meters, and the golem was nowhere to be found. Isako strode forward and where the golem once stood sat the black jewel atop a mound of sand. No longer pure black, the gem had a smoldering red heart at it's center. Isako bent down to lift it, but the stone burned to the touch.

"Gah! Well, guess we got the blood of the guilty down...and we sure as hell gave that bastard more than 100 offerings! We gotta temper this thing now...to the tears of the innocent we go!" Isako controlled the sand to lift the gem and draw it back into his sand where the heat could be contained until the tears were found.

With the first task complete, Isako departed from Hell in search of innocence.

-LLM

Techniques used:

(Sabaku Fuyū) - Desert Suspension
Type: Supplementary/Defensive
Rank: C
Range: Short-Long
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user will create a cloud of sand for them to ride upon, this can be used for travel, or avoiding attacks, or simply going into the air. Remains active until destroyed or technique is ended. The user can control the sand cloud with hand gestures to change location a the cost of using this jutsu again.

( Sabaku Sousou ) - Sand Burial
Type: Offensive
Rank: B
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: The user will create a wave of sand that they use to cover their opponent/opponents from head to toe. Once they have done this they will close their hand causing the sand to compact inwards crushing their target.

Fūton: Shinkūha) – Wind Release: Vacuum Wave
Type: Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description: After performing the necessary hand seals Rat → Snake → Horse → Dog, the user takes a deep breath and spins his body around while exhaling, compressing the released air into a solitary blade of wind that covers a substantial area around the user, due to their circular motion. The resulting sharpened blast is large enough to slice through multiple targets located a significant distance from the user, causing grievous injuries to those hit.

( Suna no Tate ) - Shield of Sand x2
Type: Defensive
Rank: A
Range:Short
Chakra Cost: 30 (per use)
Damage Points: N/A
Description: A self sustaining, self aware, autonomous defense, its the technique which made Gaara renown for having what was later called "Perfect Defense". Basically, any Sand nearby will encircle the user and move to intercept any attack that is used against him. The sand is fast enough to intercept otherwise "instant" techniques such as Amaterasu or very fast Taijutsu attacks (up to trice the users base speed) and can stop A-Rank blunt force impacts such as those delivered by Taijutsu or solid elements. The sand can even create an otherwise perfect sphere of sand around the user in a split second. Even if the user is unaware of an attack, the sand will protect him. The disadvantage is that the shield will drain chakra from the user each time it defends him, which happens without his input. However, the user can still defend from techniques and "will" the shield to not act if he is in the process of producing a counter to the impending attack. In some special circumstances, the sand can gather and form a female-like protector in the path of an incoming technique, much stronger than the normal shield of sand and which can protect the user from attacks up to S-Rank.
Note: Its defensive abilities still follow elemental weakness and strengths.
Note: If there is no dirt or sand on the battle field, the technique will use the users own Sand from his Sand Gourd.
Note: S-Rank protection will disable the Sand Shield for 2 turns and can only be activated once every 4 turns.
Note: Only useable by Gaara.

Bijutsu: Chakra Tensõ no Jutsu ) - Tailed Beast Skill: Chakra Transfer Technique
Type: Supplementary
Rank: A-Rank
Range: Short
Chakra: N/A
Damage: N/A
Description: This is an advanced ability that ninjas with great chakra control can learn to use and that Bijuu possess innately. The user will release his or hers unmolded chakra onto another ninja, effectively transferring it. The technique has many uses, from restoring an allies chakra to releasing him from a Genjutsu or simply to give him more chakra to mold, allowing him to drastically boost the power of a technique. Tsunade could even use this technique, together with her Creation Rebirth technique to, in conjunction with her summon Katsuyu, heal multiple people at the same time during Pain's attack on Konohagakure. If used to power the use of a technique, the recipient of the chakra can boost one technique by adding +20 chakra to it which increases its damage by +40. To do this, the recipient must mold the technique while the user of Chakra Tenso no Jutsu is transferring chakra into him, meaning that both the transfer and the technique must be done at the same time. The transfer can only be done with direct contact between user and target and restores the targets chakra by 100 points per turn. Bijuus can use this technique on their host to restore their chakra reserves or boost their stamina by giving them 200 chakra points directly with each use. This ability is the core method through which Bijuus and Jinchuriki innately use advanced techniques such as chakra cloaks and complete/incomplete transformations which are advanced uses of Chakra Transfer, where the bijuu transfers his or her chakra onto his or her host.
Note: Cannot be used to power the users own techniques.
Note: All Jinchuriki can use this technique.
Note: Usable 3 times per battle.

(Suna/Fuuton: Subakukazedama) - Sand/Wind Style: Desert Wind Bomb
Type: Attack
Rank: S
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 40 + 20 =60
Damage: 80 + 20 + 40 = 140
Description: The user will use their wind release to gather wind and sand together into a highly compressed sphere of wind and sand between their hands. At its peak the sphere will look to be a solid orb of sand around the size of a basketball. Once completed they will fire the sphere at their target at high speeds. On impact it will erupt into a giant storm of wind and sand that shreds apart everything caught within it. The scope of this storm is the same as the explosive radius of a typical tailed beast bomb, leaving a large barren field covered with sand in its wake. The Ichibi can also use this technique by constructing the ball using his tail and mouth.
-Can be used twice per battle by standard sand users
-Can be used once per transformation by the Ichibi
-No sand or wind techniques above S-rank the following turn

Chakra: 1660 - 30 - 30 - 30 - 40 - 15 - 20 = 1495
