From that it's pretty evident hebi was not kage level unless you can prove otherwise. MS Sasuke maybe but people should stop over hyping hebi

In my honest opinion, Hebi Sasuke was more Anbu level like Itachi back in the day and Kakashi.

So by default Hebi Sasuke should be Kage level.

But in my personal opinion he was more hokage candidate level but not there yet. Still wet behind the ears but the most promising prospect.

Hiruzen is garbage, maybe in his prime he was some sort of god, but for all we've seen him as in the manga, he's an average ninja, making him a low tier kage. Lets not forget he died fighting Part I Orochimaru. Me calling Gaara low rank is really pushing it, but compared to the other kages like Hashirama, Onoki, Tobirama, Muu, the 3rd Raikage, etc, Gaara is low tier.

this argument doesn't hold any merit in the naruto verse.think of this sm naruto >/= hebi sasuke but he gets negged by deidaras C4 karura.plus for him to have kage he must be able to defeat the kages of the time himself cementing himself as the strongest of that village

The mines were 90% of Sasuke's troubles. He based his entire strategy against Deidara around those mines, and Deidara based his entire strategy against Sasuke around those mines.

So yes. It's a big deal. Sasuke fought 2v1 in that fight while holding back in order to capture Deidara alive for questioning, and while having to maintain enough chakra to keep Orochimaru sealed within him.

Hebi sasuke beat deidara who is considered kage level since he literally beat the kazekage. In my opinion garaa was somewhat weak for a kage early p2, so i would consider hebi sauce low kage level, and believe most of the current kage at the time would defeat him.

"Kage level" imo is a pretty broad term. Reason being there are many characters of pretty varying strength that can be considered kage level. The sannin, the akatsuki members, some of the high level jonin like kakashi and darui, kabuto, ect. This doesnt make them all equals it is simply true all or their ability can be considered comparable in strength to current and past kage. No one is going to argue that because hebi sasuke beat deidara, who is kage lvl, he could also beat hiruzen or minato.

My point being kage level is broad just as jonin, chunin, and genin Are. People of the same level are not perfectly equal, and you not liking sasuke doesnt take away the feats he accomplished during his hebi days.

Hebi and MS Sasuke are both kage level. They both do not fit in the jounin level for sure.
