The golem simply needs to get close to Sasuke, then Onoki uses mobile core, why would he use mobile core and then wait for the golem when the whole point is to use mobile core to push Sasuke into the golem's attack from above? So Sasuke isn't going to slice shit with Chidori Spear before he becomes nothing but a mere smear on the ground.

This combo would allow him to crush Sasuke after Mobile Core has lowered him into the hole allowing the rock golem's hand to crush him like I mentioned already.
You can say he'd fly out of the hole using CS2, but of course, Onoki can have the main, large golem waiting at the top of the hole blocking Sasuke's path and killing him if he tries to get free.

Pre knowledge on the sharigan doesn't always mean one will not look into the persons eyes considering even danzo got trapped in sasukes genjutsu, a man of his knowledge and past experience.

He can just have a limb touch Manda and its over for him, no need for him to get close to Sasuke. The same can go for Sasuke. The golem doesn't even need to smash him, once it touches him its GG for him as he will end up like Susanoo, immobile.
