Jiraiya took on Itachi head to head, I’m sure he can handle Heibi Sas. Albeit, Itachi wasn’t going all out but neither was Jiraiya.

Lest we not forget that Jiraiya ONLY lost to Pain because he was gathering intel on them and had NO prior knowledge of Pain’s abilities.

The fact that Sasuke waited until Orochimaru was at his weakest to act tells me that he wasn't fully confident on taking on Oro at his best. Perhaps its just timing, but I think it says something. Not to mention, for me, Jiraiya> Orochimaru at the time due to Sage Mode.

That said, I think Jiraiya would take this, though Sasuke still would give him one hell of a fight.

I find that people either severelly underestimate Jiraiya, or understand how powerful he is - there really is not in between. Jiraiya would win this fight mid difficulty, I'd say. While it was a good point in Salamander Uchiha's point that Hebi Sasuke is level headed, he is also weaker than Taka Sasuke, who would have a chance imo, but still probably lose depending on how far along in his usage of MS he was. Anyways, unless Sasuke can prep Kirin without Jiraiya killing him, I don't think he has a chance of winning.
