People. Read the stipulations. V2, Ay's max speed is restricted. Sasuke could follow Ay's initial speed just fine and even dodge him. He isn't getting blitzed or curb stomped. Kirin is an effective means for victory, and genjutsu, while it won't guarantee a win, can certainly buy time until Kirin is prepped.

it's hilarious that you thing a kage lvel ninja like Ay with years more experience than Sasuke is going to fall prey to Genjutsu. It's never going to happen.

When Madara caught Ay in Genjutsu, he forced him to look into his eyes by grabbing him with Susanoo and making him look at his face. And Ay was even disgusted with himself for succumbing to it. In normal circumstances it will never work.

It's amazing that V2 had to be restricted for Sasuke to even stand a chance in this fight. V1 is still fast, sharingan may be able to keep up but for how long, Ay has way more chakra and can last a whole lot longer until Sasuke starts to feel fatigue. Ay will eventually catch him with his speed, he cannot evade forever.

CS2 isn't tanking a Lariat either.

Danzo was Kage level and has way more experience than Ay and had Sharigan himself yet still lost due to Sasuke's genjutsu. Ay was running at top speed against Madara. Speed which is restricted here. Cee even made it clear that Ay was using his amplification to that extent because he wanted to avoid the mangekyo.

Would you rather it be current Sasuke who is unrestricted vs unrestricted Ay? Sasuke can keep up fine as he has good stamina himself, and won't need to run forever with genjutsu and Kirin in his arsenal. Sasuke could survive Bee's lariat in a weakened, even when Bee's strength is superior to Ay's, and cursed seal grants him even more durability. He survives and then sheds his body. Like I said-the raikages comment about the sharingan being inferior is a pile of horseshit given different wielders master them to different levels. Furthermore, sasuke doesn't use genjutsu anywhere near much as itachi-there's ZERO proof that he was trying to use genjutsu.
