I personally thought Sasuke is much more stronger and can win this comfortably.
Sasuke has better Katons and more stamina.
Kirin is much more stronger than anything Itachi has in his arsenal.

Itachi without Susanoo can't do shit against Kirin.

Susanoo is the only thing who saved Itachi's life in their fight and the only thing Itachi truly have in his arsenal who could kill Sasuke. Sasuke was superior in every aspect. Taijutsu, Ninjutsu and Stamina.


Itachi don't have any technique powerfull enough without his Susano'o to kill Sasuke
Itachi never will kill Hebi Sasuke with weak Katons and Taijutsu.
Since Sasuke avoided even the Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi.
