Hebi Sasuke = brains over muscle and skill over strength.

MS Sasuke = rage over brains and muscle over skill

EMS Sasuke = KKG >>> everything

Rinnegan = KKG >>Brain> skill

Hebi Sasuke is the most bland and expressionless iteration of Sasuke with the least going on as a character which is probably why so much of NB likes him.

Still, at least he didn't have Susanoo and EMS to ruin his already-plain moveset.

I'm not gonna disagree with this...but his fighting style is probly why I like this version the most

the Hebi version of Sasuke is cool and all (probably my second favorite ) , but I prefer the shinden Sasuke , ..... now before you hang me up , I have my reasons :

1- he is not self-centered or obsessed with revenge
2- he is really bad-ass , sure he is not as bad-ass as the Hebi version , but he is still bad-ass
3- he is really wise (wisement > bad-ass attitude (my opinion~))
4- he cares more about the lives of others

Interesting points made my the OP.

There was a poster here on NB named "slimreaper" who analyzed in detail the factors leading to the divergence in fighting style/performance between Hebi Sasuke and his Taka variant. IIRC here were some of his conclusions:

- Taka Sasuke was obviously more emotionally comporised
- Taka Sasuke fought battles where he rarely started at 100% health. He also lacked intel on his foes.
- Taka Sasuke's opponents always conveniently had counters to his abilities, this wasn't the case during his Hebi outings

Interestingly enough, when the three listed factors were largely removed, Sasuke's fighting style/performance saw immediate improvements. War-arc Sasuke wasn't up to level of "swag" displayed by Hebi Sasuke, but was a definite improvement over his Taka outings. This improvement was carried up to Adult Sasuke; in his adult outings, Sasuke has been far more tactical and relies less on high DC Ninjutsu.

part 1 sasuke might be better than his hebi days even...as a good combination of what you listed here
