Ugh, more goddamn Sage Mode. Why can't at least this one villain go without acquiring freakin' Sage Mode? It's so damn old now, and it seems that every character in Naruto is able to attain Sage Mode or Sage chakra or Natural chakra or energy in some way shape or form. It's become just like the Rinnegan; something once so legendary and feared is now just thrown around mindlessly thinking it's still gonna have the same effect on the story it did back when introduced. When Naruto got Sage Mode, that was an achievement. That was a very unique power that fit Naruto incredibly well. Hashirama got Sage Mode, it didn't have the same effect but it was still understandable that someone like him had SM. When Madara got SM, it was like, really? And now when Toneri has SM, I just facepalm. Why tf would Toneri even need that Mode, since he can pull the goddamn moon out of the sky at will? This guy is supposed to be powerful af, anything else would be a pushover in front of the likes of Naruto and Sasuke.
