Doflamingo, like most Enochians, was born in the island country of Purgatory. His family consisted of Homing, his father and the former Horseman of Famine, his brother Rosinante, and his mother. From his young childhood, Doflamingo bought into the teachings that remained from Lucifer, believing Enochians to be gods meant to establish dominion over human beings. His father, however, upon noticing these developments in Doflamingo became worried. Delighted that Rosinante seemed to be following in his own ideals of peace and compassion, Homing decided it was time to leave the island of Purgatory and denounce his heritage as an Enochian. Seemingly parting ways peacefully with the other Horsemen and Enochian population, the family departed from the island towards the nearby Land of Water.
As the rest of his family slowly adapted to their new environment, Doflamingo found himself having difficulty readjusting. Accustomed to the privilege and prosperity he lived with due to his father's high ranking in the clan, Doflmaingo began to demand the inhabitants of the small town he now lived in to bow to him, and threw tantrums about wanting slaves and servants. As the inhabitants ignored Doflamingo, he became more and more furious and violent, declaring that as an Enochian, Doflamingo would force the world to bow to him sooner or later in the middle of town, to mysteriously cold looks from those around him.
Attempting to ease Doflamingo's anger, Homing took his family on a small trip around the Water Country, only to return and find that their home had been destroyed, burning to the ground and surrounded by an angry mob. The mob, discovering the family due to Rosinante's cries, immediately began to chase the family, causing them to be run out of town. With their money and home gone, the family were forced to act as vagabonds within a rundown, dirty shack. Now in true squalor, Doflamingo became more and more furious and filled with rage, reaching his boiling part after being found, captured, and lynched by the mob. Refusing to die, Doflamingo declared defiantly that he would survive and kill each and every one of the mob members, damning the world. Managing to escape and survive, as the crowd decided they would simply start over again, the Donquixote family found that their matriarch had become sick due to their poor living environment. Finding his wife succumbed to her illness, Homing frantically contacted the Horsemen, pleading for them to accept them back to spare his sons from further despair. It was then the Horsemen revealed to Homing that they had purposefully sent them to a town that hated Enochians due to a raid they had performed on them that left the town ruined as punishment for Homing's denouncement of the clan and its heritage. Doflamingo finally exploded, seeing this as the last straw. At a mere ten years old, Doflamingo awakened his Val, lashing out at his father and inflicting a mortal wound to him. He then severed his head and took his brother Rosinante back to Purgatory. Doflamingo presented his father's head to the Horsemen, but was denied re-acceptance, instead run off with a myriad of attacks. Swearing revenge on the Enochian clan and the Horsemen, Doflamingo and Rosinante retreated to Kirigakure.
Once in the Mist Village, the two brothers lived in poverty, fighting and scratching to survive. As Doflamingo grew, he vigorously willed himself to become more powerful, learning new abilities and advancing the abilities of the Enochian clan. With his power on display, Doflamingo attracted the attention of other fellow orphans, forming a small gang that rapidly grew in strength. Soon enough, Doflamingo became the leader of the new Donquixote Family, now in the form of a powerful criminal family. Shortly after the family came to be, Doflamingo's brother went missing, causing him immense grief that he resolved through conquering more territories. After several years, his brother returned, revealing that he suffered a great accident that rendered him mute. Reunited, Doflamingo decided he was finally strong enough to complete his ultimate goal.
Setting out from the Land of Water, the Family made their way to the island of Purgatory, finding a young boy named Law along the way that Doflamingo recruited after seeing similar anger and fury in him that he himself possessed as a boy. However, Law bonded deeply with Rosinante after they discovered he was suffering a terminal illness. Rosinante revealed to Law that he could speak and during his missing years, he had joined the ANBU Black Ops of Kirigakure, being frightened by his brother's evil and being determined to bring him down. Realizing the betrayal of his brother, Doflamingo hunted his brother, murdering him in cold blood as he dismissed him as he did to their own father. Leaving Rosinante's body to be covered in snow and losing Law, Doflamingo angrily departed towards the island of Purgatory.
With his new power in hand, Doflamingo snuck his way through the country of Purgatory, making it to the main palace where the Morningstar slept. Doflamingo revealed himself to him, and, after asserting his superior strength, revealed to him that he would offer him a deal: Pay him 10 billion Ryu, or Doflamingo would pain the country red with the blood of every Enochian man, woman, and child. Fearing for the lives of his citizens, the Morningstar agreed, managing to scrape up just enough money. However, Doflamingo betrayed him, taking control his body and forcing the Morningstar to ride around the island on a horse and slaughter countless citizens. With the citizens in panic, Doflamingo revealed himself, declaring himself a "hero" before killing the Morningstar in the middle of the country. Seemingly saving the Enochians, Doflamingo asserted himself as the new Morningstar. As his first act of taking leadership of the clan, Doflamingo personally executed each of the Horseman, appointing new ones from his crime Family, cementing his status as the new Morningstar of the Enochian clan.

Doflamingo is an incredibly tall (standing at 10'), light blond-haired, very lean and muscular man with tan skin. He generally dresses in flamboyant clothes. In reference to his animal theme, the flamingo, his clothes are brightly colored, with his hot pink feather coat most distinctly of all. Doflamingo sports a pair of curved, thin white sunglasses, which appear to serve as his eyesight with red lenses. He also walks with an odd, bow-legged waddle (though he does not always walk like this), which is also a reference to his animal theme.

In addition to his pink feather coat draped over his shoulders like a cape, Doflamingo's attire consists of wearing a plain, open shirt that has small, dark Jolly Rogers as cufflinks, an elaborately pattenred belt, and pink striped pants while at home in Purgatory. Often while out in the Ninja World, Doflamingo wears a much more elaborate outfit. This outfit consists of an all black suit with a dark red tie, along with black gloves. On each ear he has two golden hoop earrings.
Personality | 性格
Doflamingo has immense arrogance, pride, and a carefree attitude. He seems to have a penchant for dramatic phrasing, as well as a habit of exaggerated posing when giving declarations. He fears few people, as he openly taunts powerful enemies, sits on the table during important meetings and shows only gleeful interest at the thought of warring with the strongest of fighters. He does, however, dislike it when people take rumors and speak them as facts, and does not cave into such prejudice from such false rumors.
When he was 8 years old, he had a spoiled and violent attitude, wanting slaves and expecting subservience from commoners. He also had a habit of ending his sentences with "eh," which eventually disappeared as he was brought up in harsh environments. Even after his father took him away from a life of luxury, Doflamingo clung onto his heritage, believing he still has the rights of his lost origins, complaining that he did not want to live inside a rundown shack despite being hunted, and resents his father to this day for taking it all away from him. Doflamingo's arrogance stems from his heritage and he hypocritically states that what he despises the most is being looked down upon, while looking down on the world of commoners that he has been condemned to living in to this day. He believes that his suffering from his father's choice is greater than anything anyone else has suffered, deeming those instances as child's play comparing to his own miserable childhood. Despite hating the Enochians for quite some time for rejecting his return and swearing revenge on them, which he would fulfill by usurping the position of Morningstar, Doflamingo continues to believe to this day that he is nothing short of being their equal (if not superior), and that he has the blood of a god flowing through him, something he would flaunt at his opponents. Believing his heritage to be the supporting pillar to his greatness, and that one's bloodline is the determining factor to superiority, Doflamingo held humanity with contempt, ceaselessly flaunted his title in front of enemies, believing mere commoners never had a chance to defeat him.
Doflamingo has a complete lack of fear and doubt. He has never been seen looking with any feeling other than amusement by any turn of events regardless of whom they affect. Only on rare occasions does he let go of his trademark smile. However, it appears as though Doflamingo suffers from post-traumatic personality disorder along with his god complex, often having flashbacks and nightmares to his harsh childhood while asleep, choosing to cope with this by drinking copious amounts of alcohol. Doflamingo likes to toy around with his opponents and victims in a sadistic and cruel way. Doflamingo seems to live by a "might is right" philosophy, believing that the strong are the ones who make the rules and will be the only ones capable of living in the "New Era". Due to his belief in this "New Era", Doflamingo seems to lose interest in other things easily. Doflamingo also possesses an extremely bloodthirsty mentality, believing in the existence of an inherent cruelty in all human beings regardless of personality that is brought by the excitement of seeing blood and death. He would go as far as committing patricide at the age of 10, and fratricide at the age of 28, both incidents stemming from his contempt for his victims' actions. Despite his cruelty, Doflamingo has shown affection and respect for his "new" family, consisting of his handpicked Horsemen and Archangels. He is shown to be very protective of them, going so far as to destroy entire countries to protect them and violently assault anyone that insults them.

Fūinjutsu
Doflamingo has improved his power to a tremendous degree by learning the Sealing Arts. With these, he now has a set of seals that he can use during battle among several others.
(Han'you Fūin) — Generic Sealing Technique
Type: Supplementary/Defensive
Rank: B
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This technique is a standard ninja skill which allows a ninja to summon an assortment of items or weapons that have been stored using Fūinjutsu, typically they are stored within scrolls. When needed, the owner will activate the seals releasing their item or weapon of choice. Scrolls can also be used as ammunition for other weapons. The items themselves are unaffected by time. This Technique allows the user to seal any weapons they wish being their own or opponents.
Note: Cannot seal an opponent's custom weapons, or the special weapons of a particular character (Example: Samehada or Kubikiribocho).
Note: Can only seal corpses, and not injured people, regardless of the extent of their injury.
(Ura Shishō Fūinjutsu) — Reverse Four Symbols Sealing Technique
Type: Offensive
Rank: S
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 40
Damage Points: 80
Description: This is a sealing jutsu that is placed upon the user's body, setting it to activate on the user's death. It seals everything within a large, nearby, sphere into the user's body.
Note: Can only be activated upon the users death.
Note: The placement of this seal must be stated on the user's biography.
(Fuuinjutsu: Boukun no Ryoudo) – Sealing Technique: Tyrant’s Dominion
Type: Supplementary
Rank: B
Range: N/A (+1 Range to Technique Applied to)
Chakra Cost: N/A (+20 to the Technique Used Prior to This)
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user will have a seal on their body that can be activated whenever they use a technique that sends chakra through or into the ground. Upon activation, the seal will pump extra chakra into the technique and thereby extend it’s range by one degree (e.g. short-range techniques will be able to reach mid-range and mid-range techniques will be able to reach long-range). The chakra used for this technique will be added to the cost of the jutsu that preceded this. This technique counts as a move but occurs in the same timeframe as the technique it's applied to.
Note: Can only be used three times per battle
Note: Must have a one turn cool down the least between each usage
Note: Seal must be place within user's bio
Note: Can only be taught by Venom
(Fuuin: Hakari no Doragon) — Sealing Technique: Scales of the Dragon
Type: Supplementary/Defensive
Rank: S
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: N/A (-40 on Activation)
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user has a seal on their body with the Kanji for "Impervious" that automatically activates upon the user being struck with a Taijutsu attack. A barrier instantly forms over the user (before the user can be harmed) and mitigates the damage dealt by the strike and any subsequent strikes encompassed in the technique or freeform combo. Whether a Taijutsu technique deals one single hit or a multitude of them, each activation of this seal will defend one single Taijutsu attack/combo, be it freeform or a technique. The effect of the barrier is to reduce rather than eliminate the damage the user takes from being struck physically by the opponent so it will only halve the damage of any Taijutsu technique no matter how powerful (e.g. S-Ranks will fall to 40 damage, D-Ranks will fall to 10 damage). Due to this seal only reducing damage rather protecting the user completely, it acts as a failsafe more than anything else in case the user is caught unawares by someone much faster than them. The user’s body will sustain the remaining damage after the barrier halves it’s power.
Note: Can only be used twice per battle
Note: User still takes half the damage
Note: Only applies to Taijutsu techniques
Note: No S-Rank or above Fūin in that turn or next
(Fuuin: Bachi no Kindachi) — Sealing Technique: Damocles - The Curse of Kings
Type: Defensive/Supplementary
Rank: S
Range: Short - Long
Chakra Cost: 40 (80 Chakra for Double Usage)
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user will have four seals on their body (must be stated in the biography) with the Kanji for “Curse” that can be passively activated (instant but still counts as a move) whenever the opponent uses a technique. The seal will will release an intangible barrier that expands outwards in all directions. The barrier instantly reaches long-range in every direction and serves to absorb chakra from the given technique in order to weaken it by a quarter . The amount of chakra absorbed is proportional to the power of the technique but one thing that remains the same is that the remaining technique will fall to three-quarters it's original power i.e. a 120 damage technique would fall to 90 damage (Forbidden Rank). The barrier is destroyed soon after coming into contact with the technique if it exceeds a traditional S-Rank in power but not before it leeches a quarter of it’s chakra in order to weaken it by the same degree. The user can instead activate two barriers rather than one to reduce the targeted technique to half it’s original power rather than a quarter. This will count as two of the user’s three moves per turn. This means this technique does not counter other jutsu in itself but rather aids the user in countering more powerful techniques by weakening them. Due to the barrier’s intangibility, it will can work on solid techniques as well as liquids, gases and energy-based techniques. It will also only shatter against non-physical techniques due to their ability to clash with the intangible barrier. The reason this seal needs to be passively activated (still counts as a move) is so the user can use a technique in the same-timeframe to counter the opponent's weakened jutsu. This technique can be used thrice per battle, be it three usages of the single version, three usages of the double version or any variation/combination of the two.
Note: Can only be used three times per battle
Note: No Fūinjutsu techniques can be used in the user's same and next turn (when single version is used)
Note: No Fūinjutsu techniques can be used in the user's same and next two turns (when double version is used)
(Ho/Mizu/Kaze/Tsuchi/Rai Houin) — Fire/Water/Wind/Earth/Lightning Sealing Method
Type: Supplementary
Rank: B
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user takes out a scroll, and writes the name of the element they wish to seal in it. They then make four handseals, and a vapour comes out of the scroll, envelops the technique they wish to seal and seals it back into the scroll.
Note: This technique can only seal one technique up to S-rank per usage
Note: This technique may be used only thrice.
