Oro has all his jutsus including edo tensei,itachi isnt blind or sick,knowledge is manga meaning oro knows abt totsuka and itachi's sharingan genjutsu while itachi knows abt hydra tech and substitution tech.distance 30m,oro and itach want to kill each other. IMO it makes little difference against Itachi whether of not Orochimaru is healthy, his jutsu and combat capabilities werent the problem, it was his weakness to sharingan genjutsu.

Itachi rapes with a standard genjutsu and a kunai. If Edo Tensei is used, I honestly don't know how things play out after that.

Unlike the last time when he was "one shot" he isn't willingly making eye contact and TRYING to take his body in a non-battle situation this time. Orochimaru is a battle genius and one of the strongest Shinobi. We've never seen him near full power whatsoever nor with handseals other than 1 fight in which his toying around and arrogance caused him to "lose" even though he didn't.

Orochimaru wins. With Edo Tensei the Hokage could finish off Itachi, in addition Orochimaru could back them up with his own jutsu. Furthermore he has Sage Mode (albeit imperfect) as reflected by his ability to use Senjutsu chakra.
Itachi knew he'd be on par with an imperfect Sage, and with limitless chakra and a stronger Uchiha by his side an imperfect Sage overwhelmed him a lot. Orochimaru is stronger than Jiraiya and with the Hokage and Sage Mode, he'll likely beat Itachi.

Genjutsu isn't worth much when you have partners and when you can disregard your vision- he has snakes and snake like modifications which can help him out.
Ninjutsu isn't also worth much when Orochimaru likely has counters as well as back up from his Edos.
Taijutsu- I don't even need to address this.

Itachi's only hope is somehow prepping Kotoamatsuki. Even then his chances of losing are very high.

Well, yes your assessment would be correct. Unfortunately there, you quite clearly pointed out Orochimaru was "wantign to capture him" which is exactly what he doesn't want in his situation. Oh also, he has all of his chakra that's spread out upoin the curse marks and can use hand seals, AND can use Hashirama/Tobirama Edo Tensei.

Ohhhh the counter for genjutsu and Susano'o? Just the part where he's not blindly looking at Itachi's eyes like last time and not immobile and actually trying to kill.

I'm having trouble believing Itachi whose got super low stamina could take on an Orochimaru with two immortal Hokage and who also has a Sage Mode. This is including the fact that Orochimaru's real prowess - especially in Sage Mode - is largely unexplored.

However Orochimaru still said Itachi>him. Though that was based of one skirmish where Orochimaru severely underestimated Itachi: "you put me under Genjutsu?!"
At the same time Itachi admitted he'd most likely die, or be badly wounded (aka draw) against Jiraiya. The same Jiraiya that Orochimaru is noticeably above in power, and we can be led to believe that in his full glory (arms, Edo Tensei and Sage Mode) Itachi wouldn't be able to beat Orochimaru.

Of course this hinges on what Orochimaru has yet to show and what we know.
