Healthy Ninja?

Im curious to know whether or not Edo Tensei makes a ninja with an illness healthy or not, like Itachi or Kimimaro.

I'd think that considering they're immortal/bodies of dirt via Edo Tensei, illness and disease would have no effect on them or their performance.

they are revived in the condition they died under. however I don't think respiratory issues would be a problem

When they died, with Itschi yes. With Hashirama no.
