Location : Grass valley with heavy rain
preparation : none.

Please give me more than "because he's Itachi" or "because he's minato" a reason would be lovely.

Ehh, short and simple answers are the best for. . .Things like this...

Itachi's attacks aren't going to be able to hit Minato in time before Minato FTG's away. Minato won't be able to kill Itachi right away because of Susano'o.

Genjutsu in this match is worthless, I doubt Itachi is going to catch him in a genjutsu at such an incredibly quick rate.

Ninjutsu is also worthless, again. Minato's a bit too quick. Itachi would have to target all of the kunai first WITH Gamabunta and Minato adding pressure to him.

Taijutsu, I'd say they're even in close range combat.

Minato can't hit or hurt Itachi due to Susano'o, but Itachi lacks the speed to catch Minato in any worthwhile attack. Minato will outlast Itachi.

It's a poor fight that Minato only wins due to stamina, but it's a win nonetheless.

what is healthy itachi?
Essentially it's under the assumption that Itachi never fell Ill. This would mean that he would have fewer limitations because he would be healthy, it was kinda pointless for me to put that because we'll never know how powerful he could have become under the assumption the illness didn't "pretty much" end his life at a young age.
