Oral Rebirth exhausted his chakra because it took too much chakra. Lol, the bold doesn't even begin to make sense. If he was saving chakra for Kirin, he wouldn't be extremely low on chakra, he'd have some left. Not to mention Kirin is mostly Nature's power and uses up little chakra.
