Aside from the uchiha's gettings screwed all the time, they would have made great kage's but one in particular would have been the greateat, uchiha itachi. Selfless, sacrifising, dope, wise, super skilled, genuis, strong, and a messed up will of fire
Now logic time
Hashi- he died in battle right, meaning a man killed him, im sorry but no one in naruto verse can take itachi's life, the nigga dies where and when he wanna die

Hiruzen- yea probably the only kage that matches up to itachi, he has a bigger heart, he lived so long, meaning he won all his battles, but died at the hands of oro, dare i say what itachi did to oro?
Minato- yea a very powerful dude, but not as powerful as itachi, the kyuubi incident would have been taken care of, more easily and swiftly and lees damage with itachi in charge, ist tobi dare not attack, and itachi has way too much fire power, minato is a one sided ninja, thats why he could not handle the situation without loosing his life, itachi has way too many methods

danzo- well a mere gengitsu of itachi made the guy shit his pants, plus itachi's lil bro solod him, nof said

yeah itachi would've made a great protector of the leaf. all the way up until someone threatened to kill sasuke. then you would hear "oh god the hokage is killing all the women and children!"
