Well... There we have it, the unnamed Sternritter has finally been named (and killed off): Robert Accutrone. What could have been an epic plot twist got raped up by Kubo. Predictions about him being Ichigo's grandfather, one of the very last sternritters to be named, the one who blasted out Kyoraku's eye was a fodder all along.
