That makes absolutely no sense. He's not even moving in that panel while in the next panel where he is dodging at full speed, they are obviously colored in black as they usually are.

Eh, for one, he was moving. He turned around really fast, as you can tell by the lines in the bottom left of the top left panel where the balls are white.
