His smile gleams
Teeth as white as snow
In the darkness they glow

Moving shadows
They creep in
The silence becomes a din
Breath is short and almost silent
A swinging rope upon the gallows

Bittersweet and sour
Sweat dries
A failing flower
and the mornings rise

He came for me
And with the dawns call
Nothing came for me again, nevermore...
