For me, the lack of acknowledgement of Sasuke by Madara has been a bit annoying. I would have hoped to have gotten a few "... so this one has the EMS ..." or "!!! Susanoo?" or something.

I have no clue what your complaining about.
Its not as if there was some pivotal scene in which sasuke definitely needed to be there

not really. Sasuke was last seen close to Obito and wanted Obito to die. Obito proclaims he'll use Rinne Tensei but Sasuke has no reaction. Obito's going to sacrifice himself but Sasuke's not shocked at his sacrifice? Did Sasuke smirk because Obito was going to die? Was Sasuke enraged that an Uchiha would use his resurrection powers on some random ninjas when he had the power to bring back the Uchiha clan? This would have been awesome insight into Sasuke's character development but no. Sasuke had no development in that chapter.

Well actually it is important to show Sasuke, due to the fact the he could be one of the main ones that know the secret to Madara's body and could know of his plans.

Don't know, but yeah it's been a long time, I believe he'll just show up after the war in the hospital along with Anko.

Sasuke had whole chapters just about him and his (so called decision) so dont get all mad scence he wasnt in the last chapter.
