Hayate Gekko (the coughing Chunin Exam Procter). His fight with Baki is literally the ONLY time the flak jacket saves someone. Even then to be trolled when other Sand Ninja are later killed by simply Kunai throws. The plot shield on Baki was strong that day.

None of their Mangekyou Sharingans had unique abilities [effectively making them equal to mere 3-tomoe Sharingan] nor did they show any sword "mastery". Itachi could defeat them all at the same time, same with Sasuke, and same with Shisui.

And if you don't care about feats; admit Hiruzen would defeat Hashirama in a battle, his hype puts him above Hashirama [regardless if you believe it or not, he is indeed the Shinobi no Kami and the strongest Hokage].

Kishimoto hasn't shown the past in the manga, but they chose to show it in the anime. If anime didn't have "fillers" there would literally be no point making an anime. Because even an "canon fight" has fillers. Plus, this filler non-sense only started beginning when the inconsistency of the anime and some mangas got high, and the fans started ragging about their characters. Small group of people started this non-sense, which now has become an accepted thing.

The writers of the manga themselves has never declared the anime different from storyline. Kishimoto/Akira/Oda all have rights to the animes. It is their property. Meaning they are approving it.

- So how does that go to Hiruzen having Sage mode? . Apes are apes.. Monkeys are monkeys.. YOUR ASSUMPTION. Basically a theory. Actually you can assume abilities, why? BECAUSE THE MS HAS THOSE ABILITIES. You have MS.. you have those abilities.. sure its a matter of which ones you have. But clearly those abilities were used before Itachi's time..
