But Kata heavily handicapped himself not to mention he was never going for Luffy's throat and no Luffy didn't beat Kata 1v1 and forget about Kata I meant Cracker or did you purposefully forget that figh because it defeats your point? also like chopstick said 4th gear didn't even scratch Big Mom

Dogtooth handicapped himself because his sister aided him in that 1 v 1 fight. If it wasn't for her, Luffy would've dodged that Mochi thrust, that's why he skewered himself because it wasn't an earned attack.
Other than that he did 1 v 1 Dogtooth in an all out war but he did need help to defeat Cracker. Cracker was the kind of opponent that would have trouble against Mizu Luffy.

Personally I feel like Luffy will gain some type of strength that will help against Kaido, possibly he will awaken to save stamina or heighten his recovery ability. Right now Luffy's on the same level as Teech was one-year ago when he defeated Marco. I think the people that is coming after Kaido including minks w/Marco will give Kaido some problems

Am I the only one who doesn't think it will take more than 3 of the rookies to beat kaido?

it took two rookies to beat doflamingo... we seen doffy's reaction to Kaido

so i think its safe to say that three rookies are not enough considering Kaido literally off panalled 4 of them already (referring to kidd hakins killer appo etc.)

Not necessarily, It has in. I way been depicted that Hawkins is near luffy’s Level other than when the supernovas were introduced and even then Luffy outshined him all arc. Now, Hawkins is a lacky for Kaido. Now, I’m not saying Luffy can beat Kaido but in comparison to Basil, Luffy has a grand fleet, and has beaten Yonkou commanders, and due to his fleet, beating kata and cracker, and wank from that bird reporter dude, He is an empower himself. That being said, and comparing feats, Zoro or Sanji should be able to beat Hawkins.

Ridiculous there will be way more than that. There’s gonna be a huge war and those 3 can’t beat him alone, another yonkou will be involved, plus the possibility of Kizaru showing up.

Hawkins is nowhere near Luffy’s level and like you said about Luffy’s feats since pre timeskip, Luffy has always been above the rest. He was always the strongest. That pace still hasn’t disappeared yet and Hawkins isn’t beating someone who is Yonkou First Mate Level, that’s a Current Luffy and 1 year timeskip Blackbeard feat.

If Hawkins was really that strong he wouldn’t be working for Kaido.

I guess people forget the shs took two years to ONLY train, something no one else did both luffy and zoro are >> any of the other rookies by a long shot
