i need help on my homework assignment, but i cant get this one part, can u help me please?

Explain how the two words (Slender and Scrawny) can have similar denotations, but different connotations.

they both imply the person talked about is skinny. But slender has a positive connotation it is an attractive skinniness. Scrawny on the other hand has a negative conotation as one who is described as scrawny is sickenly skinny. Often short and small and skinny. Hope that helped.

yes, who doesnt have google? i couldnt find how they had different connotations and denotations, if u would read my post u would see that! and does it matter to u what i do? r u my father? no so dont worry about it!
