It's been around 8 months of living on my own

At first I was a little iffy about it I've seen a lot of people struggle with being fresh on there own

But I'm doing surprisingly well my rent is always paid as are my bills I just bought a new car

I'm proud of my accomplishments I had little to no help

So if your moving out into the world don't sweat it that much just be careful with your money. Prioritize your needs from your wants

You should be fine.

Are any of you newly out on your own how's it going for you ?

I just moved out out 9 days ago. My life has been pretty relaxing and peaceful lately and I love being able to do things on my own time and not answering to anyone. It feels good to be independent on this level and the freedom is amazing. It's been worth the bills I will be paying but my rent and utilities aren't even that bad. I have a budget so despite paying bills and buying things for recreational purposes I still have money to save at least over a $100 a month and I'm only 19. Gotta say, moving out has been the best decision I've made in years, it's even got me on this site much less than I used to be on it for my other account.

I can't wait to be permanently on my own. I'm about to start my second year of college, but once I'm done, I plan on going out and doing my own thing. It's nice to be independent from your parents. It's sort of liberating. Mostly, I thrive on proving to myself that I can make it in this world.

Good job on supporting yourself, I guess.

I'm going to move out in around 4-5, maybe even 6 years. Though it isn't too big an issue right now, I have my studies to focus on.
