Having issues with Animated Avatar

Now, I have made plenty of animated sigs and avatars before for this site, I know how to make them, save them, ect.

But when I go to upload the image, (it is under 500kb, and the right size required), it uploads, and shows up, but the only problem is that it is not animated, but yet I upload it to an external host like Imageshack, and it is
animated on there.

Any ideas whats going on? Its just not animating here on NB. AND I just made my current sig last night, and uploaded it with out a problem.

Well the site has had some bugs lately maybe that's the problem

I mean look, its animated in that post, but not my avatar, and I know I've had an animated
avatar before.

when you save you do it thrue save for web & devices ?
