Have You Guys Ever Had A Experience That Cant Be Rationalized?

I had..twice.

So how about a couple years ago a had a dream about a certain dirt road with a fence. ya know one of those chest level ones that you can jump over easily but its to block cows?

So anyway me and my cousin were riding our bikes in the woods and we got lost. We kept going until we got to this road that WAS THE EXACT ROAD IN MY DREAM!

I freaked out i wanted to freaking scream.

It didnt happen again until last week.

I ended up in a place that ive never been to before yet saw in a dream.


How is this possible? How can i dream of a place ive never seen or been to and later stumble upon it?

The strangest thing that's happened to me is I learn a word or event that I've never heard of in my life and then see or hear about it somewhere else, soon after. Spooky.

I usually experience Déjà vu one or two times a week and it can be a pretty unsettling experience so I feel you.

This isn't an example of a Déjà vu moment, but this happened a few months ago and it was pretty freaky. My bro and I were carpooling with a good friend of ours who lives just a few houses away in the same neighborhood. We step outside our house and we see this old man (early sixties?) out for a morning jog. He hadn't reached our house yet, and had maybe a good minute at his pace before he would, but he could obviously see us, as he waved a good morning. We waved back and started down the street for our friend's house.

We get there, and he's already waiting in the car so we drive off pretty much immediately. We're just exiting the neighborhood and turning onto the main road when I look to my right and there he is again, the old man jogging. He's a good 20-30 feet in front of the car and I had to look at my brother for confirmation that the old guy really was there.

There was no way he could have gotten out of the neighborhood yet, let alone be so far ahead of our vehicle. I couldn't have done even have done it and I'm a fairly fast runner. I still haven't figured out how he did it. There isn't even any shortcut paths he could have taken.

you may be experiencing something similar (emphasis on similar) to a dissociative fugue or your brain refusing to process your whereabouts properly for whatever reason

the longer answer is that it's caused by a glitch in your memory and how you perceive things because these two things either momentarily 1) disconnect where the stimuli cannot process both simultaneously or it's simply caused by 2) misinterpreted information of, like i said, your surroundings
