Sadly the only "cartoon" that made me cry was The Lion King when Muffasa dies. However other deaths did make me sad

I don't know, when I watched it that time, I started thinking about all that he was leaving behind, including his child that was so close to being born. It was just terrible. ... Not to mention getting killed by a ridiculously stupid character like Hidan...

Watch Twilight. It's quality can make grown men cry and has.

I never cried but I did find some scenes extremely depressing, yet touching all the same. One of those moments was throughout the entire Jirobou-Choji fight in the Sasuke Retrieval Arc. I was touched by the friendship that Choji and Shika had and the trust.

when Sakura begged Sasuke not to leave the village when they were kids
when Jiraiya, Itachi, and a few others died during those flashbacks
when everyone was celebrating Naruto for defeating Pain, I felt happy for him
