Depends on what you mean by getting caught, actually getting arrested or just caught and let off the hook? Either way, I've been both. One time when I was younger and in HS, my friend had a BB gun that looked like an actual gun. He let me hold onto it but someone saw him handing it over to me and thought it was really a gun, so she reported me to our schools SRO, thinking that I was going to shoot up the school, and they came, brought me out of class and put me in cuffs. I was later left off the hook because I made up a lie about where I got it from. Another time, I was in the car with some of my friends and we were pulled over because the cop said the music was too loud. He let us go after talking to us for awhile but luckily he didn't search the car because we had opened bottles, beer, and bags of weed. I've also been arrested and thrown into jail 2x for assault with a deadly weapon, something I prefer not to talk about.
