I realize there has been a lot of shit going on in the U.S. that we aren't proud of, but do you believe its our fault that we turn a blind eye whenever something goes down and immediately go to social networks to ***** about it knowing its not going to change anything.

P.S. I'm going on the record saying that i probably will never stand up to authority unless directly impacted(and even then i might not). I would love to be one of those courageous people that hold strong convictions to their beliefs of justice.

Its not and never could be because of its "foundation"

whats the point of having that foundation if we are building nothing but ill will towards our people and other countries while still pointing to that false marker.

Obama is one person, we can't hold ourselves to one idol.

I don't know, if I walked out and punched someone right now

I'm sure 9/10 would fight me back, and 4 out of those 9 have a weapon.

No. People to great things all the time. Everyone just freaks out over little things, and the freaking out increases exponentially over social media where it's easy to say bold things because you're not at risk.

Not everyone's like that. In fact, most people aren't like that.

See thats why we have to start from scratch for the simple fact that their are Trillions of lives stolen inorder for one color to be comfortable instead of everyone. In a place where everyone were never suppose to be equal there could never be real harmony because the building blocks weren't designed for that

I say no the problem to me seems to be that we as citizens forget that the Buck stops here we know what's wrong and how to fix it but somewhere somehow most of us forgot that we have the power and that a revolution is not rebellion but forcing change. To long have the greedy and powerful determined the fate of the rest we need leaders who care more for their neighbors than for the new car they just got of the backs of the same people who they just taxed again I say we take away all the BS entitlements like secret service protection for them there kids there whole immediate family two years after office not for the rest of their lives no more loop holes that let them decide what to spend the campaign money on like cars and trips before anyone says they can't check your facts they can and do.
If its good enough for everyday average citizens its good enough for them. Change these things and hold those accountable for their actions and we will see a drastic change in how our government works. Oh and before I forget stop giveing millionaire's tax breaks to hire employees unless they use the money for that and they have to be us citizens no more paying there fat cat ass to buy Chinese or Mexican workers in there respective countries. As for the illegals make them legal make them pay taxes and that problem is solved and they must learn English I'm tired of having to press 2 for English I don't see any other countries changing there language for those who are not from there.

Where you from

Denver, CO. It's not even bad out here crime wise, but people aren't cowards that's for sure.

I'd say it goes for just about any state, it's human nature that if someone threatens you, you'll defend yourself.

People like to believe that they are safe. It is easy that way but I wouldn't call us a country of cowards.

How many times have you actually had to face life or death danger in your life?

Sometimes a person might not know that they are brave and couragous until the time calls for it.

Think of this, there is enough guns in our civilian population to arm every citizen.

We are prepared to defend invading forces and would do so without hesitation. This is America!

I am alway curious, when it comes to these kind of discussion, how many of you have actually lived in or even been to another country? I have lived/worked in quite a few countries and believe me they all have problems! Some are "bigger" and some are "smaller", but there is no such thing as "the perfect country/government". If any of you should ever find it, let me know and I'll move there immediately!

I do agree with the fact that many people have grown, what I like to call "internet balls". There is so much complaining and *****ing going on these days. It used to be much different 10-15 years ago, but the fact that everybody is able to share and comment on every little aspect of their life without any real repercussion has made us so indifferent towards each other.

And to anybody who would like to "physically fight" your government. I believe that a revolution/rebellion can be a good thing and is sometimes even necessary. If there is enough REAL disapprovement with the government then organize yourself and go for it. But you have to be able to risk everything and make sacrifices, like syria and libya have done.

I mean let's be honest here, there a lot worse places in the world then the USA or most other western countries.
In the end we have no reason to complain.
