Yeah... about that. Sai and Yamato aren't the best arbiters to the complicated relationship between Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke.

They both falsely believed that Naruto was pushing himself to become stronger and going through all the anguish her went through (Karui's beat down, Orochimaru, Obito's teasing, Sasuke telling Team 7 in the Land of Grass to leave him be), because Naruto was expecting some sort of romantic reward from Sakura by accomplishing his promise to bring Sasuke back.

Sai and Yamato don't know Sasuke, and to an extent, don't understand Naruto. They have huge pieces of the puzzle missing and made erroneous judgments because they didn't have all the facts.

Sai and Yamato were wrong about Sakura and Naruto's feelings, because they didn't understand the Team 7 relationship. Nothing Naruto did before or after Sasuke left, was for Sakura's affection in any way.

The statues Naruto is sitting between are called Chinese Guardian Lions. In China they are put in front of Buddhist temples, and royal palaces. In Japan, Fox statues are placed in front of Buddhist Temples. Now we know Naruto's spirit animal is a fox. But who's spirit animal is the lion?

You will also take the time to appreciate that Naruto has only ever hulked out (transformed by Kyubi rage) for two people in the entire manga. When Oro taunted Naruto about Sasuke and when Pein hurt Hinata. You can kill Naruto's teacher (Kakashi), you can kill his master (Jiraiya), you can destroy his village (Pein), you can beat him savagely but if you ever hurt Sasuke or Hinata, Naruto will lose his shit and stomp you.

Naruto just has a thing for people with dark hair and special eyes, I guess.

Well first of all that doesn't say much because most shippuden movies suck. I haven't seen Will of Fire or Blood Prison so I can't speak on those but all the others are trash , especially Road to Ninja! That was the worst.

But yeah I didn't like The Last.

duuuuuuuude. Will of Fire was actually really good storywise, you have gaara vs naruto and other new ninjutsu and I think Blood Prison was good storywise, but also pretty epic.
