These are what I call useful and interesting fillers. They are good at making fillers about a random fodder childhood yet they fail at showing us how they captured all the jin.

I have never minded the fillers too much. Except for the extremely dumb ones..
But no, the closest we've gotten were a cameo of Yugito being captured by Hidan and Kakuzu and the Three Tails sealing arc which obviously showcased the Three Tails which was later captured by the Akatsuki.
