Have Sasuke's powers Depleted?

Since Sasuke's fight with Itachi.. his curse seal has been removed.. so he cannot use that stage 1 or stage 2 transformations..

In all his big fights.. he has always used the stage 2 curse seal tranformation and it has helped him out a lot.. with Naruto, Orochimaru, Diedara, Itachi and even Juggo.. and even had him win also in cpl of those fights..

Now that the seal is no more.. look at what happened with 8-tails.. He almost died 2 times... Even though he has the Ameterasu.. but that is like a last ditch effort.. He cannot be using it everywhere to get out of al his fights.. With all due respect to the 8-tails powers.. his performance was pretty pathetic.. had he had the curse seal the fight wud hav been a lot more competitive

So not using the curse seal actually puts him at an disadvantage now? Will this effect his future fights too?? Unless he gains something new like he says??

People (and to a much lesser extent, Me) think that Sasuke has never really evolved that much to begin with and that he's just been getting alot of lucky break and advantages.
the fact that it was Amaterasu (courtesy of Uchiha Itachi) that brought down killerbee and that it appears that he will rely on it at the kage's summit shows that he is simply spamming the MS.

He would have been killed much sooner if he wasn't an Uchiha, those eys have saved his ass to many times to count

Even though he dosen't have Curse Mark Stage1 or 2 anymore now he has Mangekyo Sharingan,Chidori and everything else he learned so I would say he dosen't really need the Curse Mark.

i was kinda thinking the same thing.. but he did gain a MS.. i guess once he learns to master it he'll get more powerful?? but yea that cursed seal definitely always helped him..

Uchihas tend to develop skills that are complimented by their eyes and thus making them the key to their fighting style, though... in one way it's understandable that they'd rely somewhat on their quite overpowered gift.

The thing is, Naruto never really boasted (in an oppressive fashion) about how strong he was or looked down on others and he did go through training to get sagemode, Sasuke only got poked on the forehead.

Only the Pain which looked like Asura took heavy damage and he was healed (Only to get smashed by Naruto 2 Minutes later)
If pain was as weak as you just summed him up to be then he would have been beaten way before Naruto arrived, the reason Naruto had to fight him in the first place was because noone else in Konoha could.

kakuzu had 3 freakin hearts left and he took out 2 and he had alot of chakra in him while naruto had come from days of training wasting chakra for FRS its only natural he would use some kyuubi chakra and he used kage bushin to full power on the fight and he did foll kakuzu to be able to hit him with FRS . i think that's quite some effort

on pain he fought him alone ( yeah nagato did use some chakra but still his a major power house i could compare him to raditz+ a bit more in energy level and thats alot for naruto series )and the kyuubi coming out was natural after what happened yeah overkill but still he didnt want to do it.

But the way he was pwned in the 8-tails fight... it was like a 1-sided match.. It was like a shocker after his impressive previous wins.. He had all those MS and chidori powers with him except the curse mark.. I only thought he was more powerful with the curse mark.. even he has MS but I don't think he has learned to fully or effectively use it like Itachi as yet.. may b with time he does..
