The theory about obito being tobi was pretty obvious for everyone
craziest theory ive ever heard was the one about sasuke travelling through time to become tobi and controlling the Akatsuki from behind the mask =D

In a fashion it is. A temporal loop, such as what was introduced through Izanagi could be construed as time travel. As long as someone was aware of the loop they could seek to change events to their favor. The problem though is the butterfly effect. Each change can have ripple effect which in turn can change the outcome of the result that you had intended to control.

And my theory is very much alive, though buried in the dark recesses of the "who is tobi" thread.
