First if all, nice poem. Now:
The poem is about lust/greed for money, the guy is wanting more and more, only to realize that all of the worlds fortune can't bring him the happiness and satisfaction true love can? (Not only girl/man love, but as a general feeling)
Lust/Greed/Capitalism/Hatred - Revelation/Epiphany?
Its a poem on how our planet breaths.
