The manga states that Naruto wasn't able to pass down his Jinchuriki power to his children, too.

Although Kishimoto implied that with his early sketch, when it came to Boruto's eyes, his was 'nicer' looking because he wasn't a 'fox'

That's what Kishi said tho.

I haven't read anything in regards to the Boruto Manga. That's something I heard, but wasn't entirely sure.

I have to disagree, when Naruto unlocked KCM he completely removed the seal and allowed their chakra to fully mix.

As a result Ashura's yang began to fully bloom hence why Naruto was able to affect Mokuton like Hashirama.

The removal of the seal enabled Naruto use their chakra simultaneously when Naruto demanded it as such with Bijuu Mode, but they did not fuse in a literal sense. Even Naruto denoted the dissimilarity in their chakra when

You can argue that Bijuu Mode unified their chakra, but given that their "fusion" of chakras is temporary and used specifically for Bijuu Mode, I'm going to have to disagree here.

Does Boruto have Kurama's chakra as well?

Kurama's chakra caused Naruto to develop his whisker marks and Boruto got his whisker marks from his father in my opinion
