Hater or Fanboy?

I can't avoid to laugh at the majority of people in the base..

So it happens that the only character that I actually have a thing for is Orochimaru, because I'm affectionate by snakes. Yet there's hardly a week that I'm not labeled either a fanboy or a hater. There have been days that I've been labeled both about the same character and due to the same post. What's the logic in that? Why can't so many people accept that each character has it's downs and ups and that I'm free to point them and remain neutral towards said character?
Also most of the times these sorts of accusations lead to discussions that I find rather pointless and therefore most of the times I simply stop arguing/answering, which in last analysis, is an encouragement to the person to keep this stupid behavior.

Do you guys feel the same way? Or is it that I find myself alone in a forum full of children?

Because a lot of the time people have no other defense to rely on other than "you're a fanboy you suck". Though, to be fair, there are a good share of "fanboys" who see no way their favorite character can be beaten, but it's at the point where if you defend you favorite character, even if it's completely logical, you're called a fanboy.

Because when people cannot counter your argument logically they usually label you a hater because they havent got a good come back.

... also i'm being sarcastic. Most people would rather call someone a fanboy and rage-quit a thread than have an interesting and thoughtful discussion on the pros and cons of characters

Fanboys are very real and so are fangirls. If you jump in posts and can't admit your fav character can lose and base your arguments on how cool they are then you're a fanboy. You like Oro cos he has snakes, do you base your arguments on how cool snakes are? If so you're a fanboy...

Idk if you are, but they are out there and you just can't argue with stupid.

I made a thread about this a while ago, the whole view on this base about 'Fanboy' is just BS, it's just because they can't accept your honest personal opinion. However, that doesn't mean 'fanboys don't exist because they do........:| i'm serious.

Well so it happens that I've actually never been called an Orochimaru fanboy.. Yet I've been labeled a Naruto, Sasuke, Itachi, Minato, Nagato, Muu, Onoki, A, Kakashi, etc Fanboy and Hater.

I'm being serious here apart from very few people I feel like no one actually reads what I post. They simply fire Fanboy or Hater totally out of context. It's absurd!

you have to remember that probably 3/4 of the people on this forums, especially the ones that your talking about, are about 12 years old and the best thing they can resort to in a more grown up argument is name calling. everyone is entitled to their opinions about there favorite and least favorite characters, like me myself i hate Sakura, dont really like sasuke even though once he stopped being a wuss and started actually killing his enemies i started liking him a little bit more, and i am a fan of itachi and Orochimaru. but when i reply on fanboy threads i sometimes like to troll a little and diss the character but i try not to resort to dissing the person making the thread unless they start dissing me first. I always make myself feel better when little kids start name calling on threads because they lost the troll-off that i could beat the kid up irl and it makes me feel better.
