Hate to say it... but I don't see Byakugan getting any more development

Powerup season is almost over, everybody has gotten their final builds, and now everybody is about to start fighting with what they have now.

The only way I see it possibly getting any more deveopment is if Hinata or her father decides to step in fighting Madara and something happens between their eyes which I highly doubt. Otherwise there's just no plot opportunity for any Hyugas to get a powerup.

What would the baykugan transform into and why ?

You should be more concerned with how hinata can improve on its existing abilities and if she can surpass neji in the long run,

Not random transformations that serve no purpose.
