This is also probably why alot of anime merchandise or promotional events doesn't really reach NA, because of the media that's broadcasting negative things about it.

What do you guys think, should Anime/Manga be expressed the way as it is in the media?

Anime has a lot of baggage. Does it deserve all the negativity? Not really, because not every anime is like the majority, but the thing is the majority of anime is weird and shit. Even stuff like Naruto has weird Japanese humor and Japanese humor is weird.

What do I have to say? **** the media and their shit, they never have honest news or anything good to say. Everything is hyped up look and sound worse than it is. The guy who murder the girl had child porn, but they didn't even know what kind. The children who are being abused aren't reported to be due to anime lolicon. It's always people trying to find a source of blame. Don't get me wrong, I think children porn is repulsive but come on, try harder America. I say america because it's banned here and it's America trying to change the Japanese.
Also, Japan has the lowest crime rate, so I wonder if we should all start doing everything they do there. Why don't they ever comment on that? smh.

Now those are two different videos with two different purposes.

In the first video they show (and speculate about) plausible problems that could appear/have already appeared partially due to the illustration of child abuse in manga/anime. This is a big topic and one that SHOULD be discussed imho. They didn't go and point fingers at anime/manga in general and bash it, it was a thought-provoking video and I would support the idea of banning this particular "section" of anime.

The second video on the other hand was all about bashing those fans and the event in general... They made fun out of them, because they are different. I saw a similar german "documentation" of the gamescon in Cologne several years ago, they thought that making fun out of a small minority group wouldn't hurt them. The only problem was, that the minority group of gamers among german and austrian people wasn't that small and after countless complaints and a small hacking attack on their servers the broadcaster framed an apology.

Edit: I might add, that this "documentation" wasn't quite as bad and offensive towards anime/manga and it's fans as the one of the gamescon in Cologne was towards games and gamers.

Or, they could just make the characters look more mature and all, above their legal consent age, and not allowing children to read such books or so to say not sell them publicly but via online sellers first taking ID Proof and all.

As for your claim on why the promotional events doesn't reach NA, well too bad brah, but they ain't doing anything wrong. Animes like Naruto, with very little to no demonstration of sexual scenarios are always entertained, but let's be real here. Today only few handful of authors of any series are sticking to no dirty fan-service things, authors like Kishimoto. That's why I respect him. But others are usually giving as much fanservice they can to sell their product.

To be honest, I think they should just deal with it. Japan isn't their country, but they try to find a way to make it so anyone be it a parent make it so they hide their children from it, but only because of this sole reason. That's one reason it is also hate.

I agree to an extent, Child abuse and pornography is quite bad, but it's really the type of person who would choose to be influenced by something that is shown on a piece of paper or a animation. If a sane person saw that, They would instantly stop watching/reading it, but like I said it's the type of person who would choose to see any of that.

There is way too much loli porn, and even if these people are being portrayed as ''teenagers'' or ''adults'', shit they look like 9 year olds.

I can barely tell anyone that I watch anime unless I obviously know that they're accepting of it, otherwise I would just be branded as a weirdo and most likely also a pervert from the get-go.

And this hate towards people who watch anime and read manga isn't only in North-America bro, I'm telling you.
