[Suggestion] #Hashtag

I dont know if this has been suggested before, would it be cool to implement a hashtag system on narutobase? what do you guys think? i think it would be a cool feature to aid the search bar. being able the hashtag something so things are easier to find that have something to do with that subject.

what difference does it make if its not twitter? this is not good logic at all. twitter also has a search bar does that make twitter like naruto base? lol

people use hashtags on here any way. why not have them link somewhere


but i guess. if your only logic is "It will be like twitter" then thats fairly retarded. but if you dont like it for other reasons like "you just dont like hashtags" this is a more logical reason. but saying "this isnt twitter" is just retarded.

nah, that'll be annoying, and something similar (smaller scale) was suggested but the database of this forum is too big to implement something like that (according to Rei)

I personally don't see the use of it. Most people would use different hashtags, and the amount of hashtags would be so spread out that it finding it would be the same as finding a needle in a haystack. Also, popular things (such as battles in the RP, I can't come up with a lot atm) are easily findable if properly using the search bar.

The plus side would be if you had a window somewhere with trending hashtags... But that's about it.

Apart from that, I'm unsure as to how far you can incorporate this into the search VB. I doubt it is possible to the extent of efficiency that either twitter or facebook has.

Eh wouldn't that make it harder to find stuff in the search bar? It would seems slightly pointless imo.
