Look at the middle picture. you can clearly see hashis clone.

So im guesssing that gedo mazou was summoned in that cave before madara gave his eyes to nagato. But what about when nagato summoned the statue because yahiko died? it couldnt just vanish from that cave because Madara was still alive at the time and he was connected to the gedou.

But the question is:
How did madara got that hashis clone in to the gedou?

Who knows.....Hashi had the Sages Body so maybe thats somehow connected to the mazo

Madara died when Nagato summoned the Mazo when Yahiko died because he was not attacked to the Mazo anymore and he said himself that he would die almost instantly if he was not connected to the Mazo

How did madara got that hashis clone in to the gedou?

Madara contracted a bit of Harashima's power at the end of their last battle. It would have been easy to find Harashima's DNA scattered about the battlefield and to implant it into the Gedou. However it could also have been the same process as Madara used when transferring his chakara/intentions into Zetsu to make Black Zetsu, allthough I would doubt it because it doesn't not involve DNA rather only power/will.

Madara died before Yahiko did. This was clearly shown just a few chapters ago, when Obito first approached Nagato. So the hashi clones were already created before Nagato summoned Gedo.
