Hashirama's voice

Did anyone else expect a younger voice for Hashirama? Like, more joyful, or joking, I don't know. I feel the current voice so oldish for him, more suitable for Jirayia, actually.

however when he scolded Tobirama it got tense

This is the same voice actor who has been doing the voice of Hashirama for many years now. Not sure where you've been.

Exactly, same voice actor. It's perfect, if he had a younger version it would just be annoying.

He's been in several different Naruto video games as well over the past decade. So yeah, he's been doing this for years.

I was shocked to hear his voice was that gruff. I would expect that more from Tobirama. Not that I wanted him to sound like Naruto, maybe more like Iruka. I will have to relisten to that episode in the original Naruto series to hear if the actor is pitching his voice the same.

I was thinking to make this thread after watching the episode, but I saw you already created it! Hashi's voice is good for current version of him (Edo), it will be better if he had a little soft voice when he was fighting hashirama. Same thing for madara. Madara's voice (Obito Mask) is not suitable for that madara when he fought against hashirama. And in the preview of the next episode, we heard kid madara and hashirama's voices, they won't suit them...... for kid madara, kid obito or kid kakashi's voice was good, and for hashirama, konohamaru (shippuden), naruto (5 year old)'s voices was better.....

Yep, Iruka also fits. Any younger voice would have been more suitable xD. Any but Jirayia's.
