Hashirama's true power...

In the recent chapters it seems like although they might have been bitter rivals. I really feel like Madara is fond of Hashirama, and his power. This shows his true strength as the strongest ninja of all time. At first Madara came out the gate arrogant as any Uchiha would be. Showing off his skills, and talking about how powerful he is. If he wasn't an edo he would have most likely been dead by now.

But on to my point,

When Tobi was going through his split Madara personality phase, he put on a show. But what he said had a lot of truth to it.

Now in Recent chapters we see how much Madara praises Hashirama. Almost like he's hanging off his nuts. Even with his new hacked body; enhanced with rinnegan, and Hashirama's cells. He is still praising Hashirama. A trait we have never seen in any of the Uchiha we've seen so far.

When have you known an Uchiha, the most arrogant clan we've ever seen in the Narutoverse, praise others even if they are inferior? A prime example of this is Naruto and Sasuke. After the pain arc Zetsu makes a remark stating that at the time Naruto is stronger than Sasuke. True or not Sasuke will never admit that. Even after in the Team 7 reunion, Naruto and Sasuke were basically equals, but Sasuke is so arrogant he still talks to naruto in a condescending tone.

My main point is, this shows exactly how strong Hashirama is. His true power is not the simple fact that he beat the best Uchiha in a fight to the death. But the fact that he got Madara to actually fear and respect him.

i think that there relationship was a lot like naruto and sasukes pre shippuden . i think madara is just angry that there isnt anyone on his level anymore and that the 1 person who was isnt alive any more and all these other ninja are trying but madara see's it as a pointless attempt.

That's the irony of it. He claims everyone is weak, but is not even using his power to fight. More arrogance of the Uchiha, even if the power is not his, he feels the need to brag and talk down.

It looks to me that if Itachi, or Sasuke or both working together are not able to get Kabuto to stop the Edo, it falls on only one person shoulders to stop Madara. Dan said the First Hokage could deal with Madara but He is gone sealed away so that levees someone who can surpass His power and Madara, theirs only one person and that is Naruto, looks like after Naruto stops Tobi it is back to Madara for Naruto.

Yeah I think the Kages have about 1 or 2 more chapters left. I don't think Naruto can fight Tobi, Madara, and then Sasuke. That's mission impossible.

Lol it's exactly like voldemort and dumbledore. But I found it weird, the Madara who was once arrogant leader of the Uchiha clan now loves and praises his best friend Hashirama.
