There's been a hype since Hashirama's statement that said "Itachi is better than me" sentence and people interpret it literally like Itachi > Hashirama. From my point of view, Hashirama said it in a sense of sacrifice, determination and leadership as shown by Itachi where Itachi weighted the whole scenario to the future sake rather than his sentiments for his families and the bond. Which is i recalled why Hashirama reckoned that qualities.

But to put Itachi better than Hashi in a term of powers, it is not so right atm as we can see, evrything that been dubbed as the OP jutsu must practised a bit of "Hashi's cells" or Hashi's DNA. Even the most spammed Edo now had a bit of Hashi's cells not to mention that undead Edo Madara. Don't u guys see, if Edo Madara doesn't have that Hashi's cells, he too would be defeated so easily by the 5 Kages?

So, please bear in mind, Hashi is just a humble shinobi who didnt afraid to reckoned anyone but the truth is Hashi is more powerful than what we could imagine.

Wut? You needed to make a topic for this?

Obviously he is talking about what Itachi stood for and how he steered his course of life. How could he be comparing Itachi's abilities to his own if he has never saw Itachi in combat?.

I'm a huge Itachi fan and I was tempted to troll by using that quote. But it would've been wrong, we all know that was just flattery.

-Yup- Itachi was a good shinobi in terms of what he did for the village and what he sacrificed for its safety.

Truth is told bro... thanks for this thread...

Bro.. to put it simply... this is naruto not DBZ its not about power levels and killing the opponent is not always the objective here.....

in the shinobi world its about who completes his mission and itachi completed every mission he took with perfection.........

Yeah, some fanboys are blowing Hashi statement out of proportions.

A lot of things have been blown out of proportion, so much that I find your statement funny. Hiruzen vs Hashirama has been blown out of proportion when neither Kage was at full power and by that I mean Hiruzen had old age that was what weakened his chakra reserves, stamina, and his body so due to age he was weaker than at his peak whereas Hashirama's full power wasn't unleashed.

Another thing blown out of proportion is Hashi stating Itachi's better than himself. Despite being such a powerful shinobi, Hashirama's rather humble and I like that about him. Oh well, I'm just excited about Hashirama vs Madara, we'll finally see how the battle went down. :D
