Hashirama's power was just ridiculous

it would have been ok if he barely pulled out a victory due to plot no jutsu, but instead he totally owned EMS Madara's absolute best shot straight up. The PS solo'd 5 Kages, and the Kyuubi has helped Naruto defeat many powerful enemies and made him one of the strongest ninjas in the world. But the two together got squashed like a bug by one of Hashirama's jutsus, that was stupid, sorry.

Not really, I'm not even a Madara fan boy, sorry. But it just doesn't make the story work if the "good guy" is so much stronger than the "bad guy". There needs to be some sort of equality at the top, a yin to the yang. But Hashirama completely overwhelmed Madara who was aided by the strongest of the 9 Tailed Beasts.

We haven't seen what will happen next even though madara will lose but I agree with you, kishi made hashirama way too strong too late in the story. If he really wanted to make him that strong since the beginning he should have hype him in the fight with hiruzen.
