How I got the Idea
I have actually been reading the manga called Kingdom. And i noticed in that manga, that no side is actually justified. That innocents die in battle just to protect their countries. So who do you root for ? There are no good or bad guys..
Now somehow it reminded me of the Warring states period of Naruto. And how Hashirama reunited the Senju groups , and then made alliances with other clans, and then proceeding to create the Leaf village.
Main Point
As we know Hashirama was a kind dude. To him Shinobi as a whole were more important. Though he liked fighting, he didn't like killing. (yes i am aware that he is a fictional character, but still lets suppose he was a living person) i really do wonder what he had been going through his mind.
See on one hand he had to kill people. On the other hand he didn't want to, because he wanted to unite the shinobi who were fighting against each other. How strong of a mentality do you need to make an alliance with the people who killed 2 of your younger brothers and other members of your clan?
I can't even imagine the pain this dude had to go through man. You see unlike Madara or Tobirama this guy was freaking gentle (according to kishimoto).
And this is precisely the reason why he is my second favorite character.
Now there are people who say that Nagato/Gaara/Sasuke/Naruto/Obito/Kakashi and so on suffered the most pain. However, if you truly look into depth.. the sh*t Hashirama's generation had to go through was vastly superior. And this isn't solely applied to just Konoha ninja.. But ninja from other countries.
Conclusion:
Man compared to the stuff they want through current generation of Naruto doesn't even seem that bad lol. I mean i really urge people to think about it.. I mean in america we currently are far better off than the people back in WW2.. or Back when the Civil War happened.
This is some deep stuff yo. :'(
So I ask you how do you feel Hashirama's pain. And discuss about the pain other character's might have felt during their periods of time. And tell me which generation went through the most.
