How many times do you think Hashirama overwhelmed Madara like how he did? Has Hashirama just been constantly letting his old friend go to fight another day? While I understand that he wanted them to complete their dream, how many of his clansmen did Hashirama lose to these battles just for him to try and get back his friend? It seems foolish to me how he would sacrifice his own people to try and convince his friend like he did, the foolishness of childlike innocence.

Another thing: Madara lost all his brothers, and wanted Hashirama to do the same to Tobirama to make him feel the pain for their plan. It only continues to show the selfishness of the Uchiha clan's curse. The whole of the Senju clan would feel betrayed if Hashirama killed Tobirama just to make Madara, their enemy, happy.

You don't have to think hard about it, but how far would Naruto go to make the peace with the Uchiha and Sasuke? Would he go against the Leaf village? The whole world?

Thoughts?

Well, personally, I think we all need to be more like Hashirama in a way where we should try to preserve our childlike-innocence for as long as we can but yeah, I agree with you on the part where Madara's statement only shows how selfish the Uchihas are.

Why do you say that? Personally I see no benefit in that. But perhaps you could explain?

Well, with childlike innocence, we are more open to change actually. The world would be less cruel. It makes sense.
