He wasnt specific. He said after he awakened those 2 he got susanoo. Sasuke awakened amaterasu and enton he got susanoo.

I expect him to not be surprised, if awakening Susanoo didn't require two specific jutsu. It's not as if using Susanoo takes some kind of special talent. Even Shisui, who was known as the most talented Uchiha, still never had Susanoo. Kishimoto has already given a reason for that: he didn't have the right jutsu.

He never seen any other susanoo, so he would be surprised. Manga never stated if shisui had or had not susanoo. At any rate when he lost his eye, he couldnt

Obito didn't awaken his Kaleidoscope Sharingan until he saw Rin die. If he had already awoken the eye, he would have already had a 3-tomoe Sharingan. Instead, he had a 2-tomoe Sharingan.
Him avoiding death by the boulders was nothing but a coincidence.

Obito was already capable of slipping throgh rocks with 2 tomoe. which later matured into S/T with MS.

It plainly states there that the chakra in Danzo's eye, shouder, and arm was Shisui's, even though that part of his body also held Hashirama's DNA.

This is my theory on the Mangekyo Sharingan. Enjoy.

Firstly, Manga >>> Databook

Ok, I believe that everyone's eyes are the same from 1 Tomoe up to 3.
After they unlock Mangekyo Sharingan they all get two diffrent powers. One in each eye.
If your brothers or sisters tho, then you get the same powers. This would explain why both Itachi and Sasuke have shown to both have Amaterasu and Tsukyomi. This would also explain why Obito and Shisui have separate powers then them and why they dont have their powers. This would also explain why you have to take your brothers or sisters eyes for Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan.
Now I also believe that no matter what two powers you have, when combined you always get susanoo. This would explain why Madara has Susanoo but hasn't shown Amaterasu or Tsukyomi.

i think in order to awaken susano'o you need an mangekyou that has a ninjutsu in one eye and a genjutus in the other
that's why obito cant awaken it because both of his eyes are kamui and shisui couldn't because both of his eyes are kotoamatsukami

We don't know this for sure. As Obito never had both Mangekyou, he could be missing a vital jutsu, and since he and Kakashi have shown..pretty different Kamui techniques, it could be symbolic of Obito not having a complete Mangekyou. We've never seen Shisui with both, as Danzo stole one of his eyes..Just my thoughts, I hope you don't disagree too much.

Stop saying that Sasuke can only use amaterasu or the MS in general because Itachi gave it to him ! If I give all of my bacon to my little sister does that mean she can't cook her own? No! It is the same concept here. Sasuke awakened his own MS! People really need to stop dwelling on that one little instance of Sasuke using amaterasu unintentionally. Itachi's symbol never ever appeared again in Sasuke's eyes until he got EMS! This comment is for the person who said that Sasuke would not have amaterasu if Itachi hadn't implanted it.
