Hashirama's Healing without Seals

I just noticed something. Before I believed that Hashirama was able to insta-heal at any point in time, but that is not the case. I believe he can only heal while in Sage Mode.


Let me go back and post what Madara said about Hashirama's healing.

He first mentions that he can heal without the use of Hand-Seals, which Madara later acknowledges Tsunade's Yin Seal of Rebirth tech to be exactly like Hashirama's healing.

Next, most people were dumbfounded to the fact that Hashirama could commit suicide and bleed from Madara's battle if he were able to heal instantly. But notice, that in those instances he wasn't in Sage Mode.

So here is where I noticed something that most people may have missed. When Madara possessed Hashirama's Sage Mode, he fought with Sasuke and had a sword pierce through his bicep. Afterwards, Madara's wound healed.

So what does it all mean? To Summarize

-Hashirama can only heal without seals while in Sage Mode

-Madara now possesses Hashirama's Sage Mode and can utilize the same healing ability.

Apparently he did both absorb the kyubbi chakra and heal himself because now he have hashirama's power .

I don't think it's in question at all. He didn't heal until the last panel in which he was absorbing the kyuubi cloak.

Seems legit. Also if u noticed he was absorbing kyuubi charka that might have something to do with it aswell. I guess madara wasn't lying about being stronger while alive

maybe Madara healed his arm via kyuubi cloak, but....

how else would one explain Hashirama being able to heal without seals but also be able to bleed and kill himself?

By healing through Sage Mode, it gives Hashirama a limit to how long he could heal which makes sense.

If there was no limit, he could heal for as long as he wants and never die or get hurt in battle.

and now that Madara has his SM, it's likely that he can do the same, but only for however long SM is active.

sage mode amplifies natural abilities. Maybe he had a form of Strength of 100, and because his reserves her already massive he didn't need a yinseal, the he could heal himself, and sage mode only made it stronger.

Another thing madara referred that he have hashirama healing powers just now

But before (when he didn't have the sage mode in his chest face) he didn't .


So indeed hashi healing may come from sage mode.

Obito never healed on his own....he used zetsu parts to repair his arms and the hole in his chest from kakashi was healed from becoming jinchuriki

he didn't heal instantly on a whim

Well this was obvious for me, but its good you made a thread about it.

SM Hashirama = Byakugou Tsunade = current Madara in terms of regeneration. Base Hashirama can't heal himself without using seals.
