Hashirama's healing power

I have a question, i tried to read the databook but i found nothing.

Hashirama healing power is a medical jutsu, or is an automatic healing which it comes from his particular cells?

Tsunade uses the seal, but Hashirama? Can regrow limbs and organs?

Well it can be used for artaficial limbs if that counts--and although I don't recall where I do seem to mention restoring limbs. But without scans/quotes it's as good as speculation.

The databook says something like: his body brimmed with vitality, granting him considerable regenerative powers that could mend most injuries with no residual effects. His Abilties derive from his Gentics not a jutsu/technique but I also believe that his SM (usage of Senjutsu Chakra) amplified those abilities.

Tsunade's techniques are superior but have residual effects.
