Madara states that Hashirama's the only one who can stop him, but that won't be happening because Hashirama's "no longer with us." I don't want any bull**** about that being in past tense because of "could" or whatever (either way, could doesn't always refer to the past); if Madara was talking about the past he wouldn't have any need to mention the fact that Hashirama's "no longer with us."

A couple months later, as Naruto's failing to defeat Madara, Orochimaru revives Hashirama, thus bringing back the only person who could/can beat him (as said by Madara, Dan, and, indirectly, the author):

It you still refuse to believe it, I don't know how Kishi can make it any more obvious. I guess you'll just have to wait until Hashirama and Madara have a reunion on the battlefield.

Pretty sure Yamato's irrelevant now (especially with Hashirama revived), but sure, it's possible.

Hashi should definitely be the one to defeat Madara, or at least play the major role in doing so. I do agree that it would be cool to see Yamato again sometime soon haha he just sorta disappeared after the Zetsus were done being cloned

Hashi can sense his own chakra easily so he can simply insert his soul or powers into Yamato. Why because they used zetsu body's for the edo meaning it is hashi's DNA already meaning there will be a big twist coming soon.

But there's really no need for Hashirama to seek Yamato out and give him some of his power when he can solo Madara himself.

good thread. people wont accept this though. they will chose fanboyism over the message that the author conveys in his manga.

Tobirama and hashi would never get involved in the battle as they are dead kinda one of those it's not our place to butt in.
